In addition to a student’s academic record and essay, we look for students who demonstrate they want to be involved in an inclusive and diverse campus community and embody our core values of community, education, and faith.

• Q: When applying without test scores, do I need to send in any other documents aside from my application, essay, and high school transcript?

  A: At °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳, all application files are reviewed holistically, meaning the admissions committee will review all aspects of an application, and each part of the application has equal importance. Not one single material, such as grades or the essay, will outweigh the others in the decision outcome. The admissions committee will read your entire application and will get to know you as a student. They’re looking to see if you are a good fit for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳, and if °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ is a good fit for you. However, the admissions committee may request additional documentation from you to ensure that enough information is provided to make an admissions decision.

• Q: When I apply without test scores, am I eligible to receive an academic scholarship?

  A: Yes, students apply and gain admission will be evaluated for an academic scholarship. Our first-year students are eligible to receive an academic scholarship that ranges in value from $20,000/year to $25,000/year.

• Q: Will I ever be asked to send test scores to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳?

  A: Yes, students should be prepared to submit an ACT, SAT, or TSI score after gaining admission to ensure appropriate placement in their first semester courses, specifically in mathematics.

  First-year students may also send an ACT or SAT test score to be considered for a Test Score Scholarship, awarded to students who have scored at least a 22 on the ACT or an 1100 on the SAT.
